Top 5 Favorite TV Shows/Movies to Watch during Fall

Fall is one of my favorite seasons. During the fall season, you can wear joggers and hoodies. All the cute/fun activities, such as Fright Fest, pumpkin patches, haunted houses, etc., are going on. Not only are there fun things for you to do, the fall drinks are my favorite. My favorite fall drink is from Starbucks: a Pumpkin Chai. Fall includes different types of fun for everyone. The EPHS Tigers, including myself, especially love fall inspired TV shows and movies!

This picture is of Jack’s Pumpkin Patch in Chicago. There are many fun things to do at this pumpkin patch and also cute spots where you can take photos.

My top 5 favorite movies/TV shows to watch during the fall season include…

Gilmore Girls:

The reason why I picked Gilmore Girls is because it gives fall vibes, and it’s a good TV show that is very comforting. It is about a mother and her daughter and their relationship. Much of the show, including the first couple of episodes of the entire series, are set during the fall season.

Pretty Little Liars:

Pretty Little Liars is about a girl who fakes her death because someone is trying to hurt her. Later on in the show, the person who tried to hurt comes after her friends. Pretty Little Liars is a horror and drama TV show that is perfect for the Halloween holiday.

Insidious 2:

Insidious 2 is a movie about a family that struggles to overcome their son’s recent battle with evil spirits. This movie takes place during the fall and is a great movie to kick off the Halloween spooky season.

This is the movie cover for one of Michael Meyers’ movies, Halloween. Michael Meyers’ movies are not based on true stories. John Carpenter, the film’s director, was inspired to create the main character after witnessing a young boy with an unsettling “evil stare”.

Michael Myers: Halloween Ends

Michael Myers is iconic for Halloween time, and this classic is about a serial killer who escapes a mental institution in order to return to his hometown and seek revenge. This movie is a great choice for a suspenseful Halloween night.

Monster House:

This is a kid friendly Halloween movie; it’s a great family movie to enjoy while sitting on the couch enjoying some candy and popcorn. With Halloween approaching, three children must find a way to destroy the house before trick-or-treaters arrive.
