Found

Hello, Tigers! It is staff reporter Nayeli Gutierrez, and I am bringing all EPHS students a spine chilling, mysterious, entertaining, and informative article.

Found, a crime and drama series, is a brand new show currently streaming on Netflix. This show interested many people just from its cover photo of award-winning American actress and producer Shanola Hampton. Shanola Hampton stars as Gabi (Gabriella) Mosley, the main character. The series follows a crisis management firm that tracks down missing people who are ignored by the authorities. Gabi has 7 members working with her to solve these cases. They’ll stop at nothing to solve these missing people cases: for them, it’s personal. Every single member of this team has firsthand experience with disappearance, whether it was them personally or someone who they loved, while the lead, Gabi Mosely, holds a dark secret within.

Camilla’s Case:

One day, an 11-year-old boy named Deron shows up at the M&A, reporting his sister, Camilla, missing. (The police were too caught up in the missing case of the senator’s daughter to pay any attention to Deron). Frustrated, Deron reached out to Gabi Moseley, a specialist. Gabi, who is a victim of kidnapping herself, hears out Deron. Deron informs Gabi that his sister, Camilla, would have never run away from their foster parents without taking him with her, and Gabi believes him. With little information, aside from a little brother’s account of Camilla’s last 24-hrs., Gabi and her team get to work and do some investigating on this time-sensitive case. Since they take their cases so seriously, they don’t have limits and, thereby, do not hesitate to break laws to get jobs done. Gabi’s team includes a private investigator, a combat veteran, a criminal defense lawyer, and a tech-obsessed agoraphobe, all of whom help narrow down potential kidnappers. Still, they are no closer to finding Camilla. With every second that passes, the chances of finding Camilla alive grow slimmer.

Backstory:

With the pressure that Gabi was under with this case, she demanded help from her secret weapon who no one else knows about: her co-worker’s/sister’s kidnapper. Her kidnapper, known as Sir, is actually named Hugh Evans. As retribution, Gabi has captured Sir and keeps him locked in her basement. Sir has had an obsession with Gabi, wanting to have her all to himself and potentially even start a family with her. Sir kidnapped Gabi when she was just 16 years old and kept her for over a year, specifically one year and 8 days before her escape. While Sir had Gabi, he wanted to give her company, so he kidnapped another little girl named Bella (later changing her name to Lacey). Gabi and Bella became very close while in captivity together. They eventually got away from Sir, and, as they grew older, started their company: M&A. Now, to find Camilla, Gabi will have to play into Sir’s mind games to get an understanding of a kidnapper’s next moves.

This is an image of Gabi and her kidnapper, Sir. Sir is housed in the basement of Gabi’s house.

End of Camilla’s Case:

After Gabi got information and help from Sir, she went back to M&A. With that, they were able to find out where Camilla was and they got her home to her brother safely.

Conclusion:

Overall, I definitely recommend this amazing TV show; it will keep you very entertained and give you something to look forward to.
