Crumbl Cookies has quickly become a beloved industry brand, known for its innovative approach to cookie baking and its engaging social media presence. One of the standout features of Crumbl Cookies is their rotating menu. Each week, Crumbl offers a different selection of appetizing cookies, which keeps customers eager and excited to try new options! They also have a signature pink box that the cookies come in, which has become quite iconic among their customers. The cookies can come in a single cookie, 4-pack, 6-pack, 12-pack, and in minis. Crumbl Cookies rose to popularity due to their social media marketing where they have influencer collaborations, customer engagement, and their weekly flavor announcements. They actively respond to comments, always engage with their audience, and gather feedback.
The following sweet treats were sampled by us (Madi and Maya) along with Ava Losurdo and Serena Braglia. We chose what looked most appetizing to us from the options that were available online the week of October 21, 2024.
Banana Upside Down Cake: The first cookie, or should we say cake, is the Banana Upside Down Cake. This was our favorite. Since this cookie is technically a “cake”, the price rounds up to $5.98, plus food tax (3.25%) $0.19, coming to a total of $6.17. This is just overpriced; it’s a tiny cake and should not be $6.17. This cookie is a warm banana cake drenched in a toffee glaze, topped with a smooth vanilla bean whipped cream dollop, and then finished with a drizzle of more toffee glaze. It has a moist texture on the inside and tastes similar to banana bread. This cake is a sugary cake, starting at 240 calories per serving and 950 per dessert, which is insane!
Maya: I rate this cake a 10/10. It tastes exactly like banana bread with a sweet cream on top, making it very delicious. It’s a little more expensive than the cookies. I recommend this to anyone who loves banana bread.
Madi: I rate this a 10/10. Even though it isn’t a cookie, it was super good, and I would definitely get this one again if it was on any of the future weeks menu! The cake almost tasted like banana bread, which I thought was delicious.
Confetti Milkshake: The second cookie is called Confetti Milkshake. This is a fun and colorful cookie! A single delicious cookie is $4.99, plus food tax (3.25%) $0.16, rounding up to a total of $5.15. We noticed almost all of these cookies have similar prices; it all depends on the ingredients, which could make the cookie have an extra charge. This is a confetti sugar cookie, rolled in rainbow sprinkles and topped with cake-flavored buttercream and a dollop of whipped cream. For the Confetti Milkshake cookie, the per serving is 140 calories and per dessert is 930 calories, making it the second highest calorie cookie for this specific week’s flavors.
Maya: I give this cookie an 8/10. It looks and tastes delightful. This exceeded my expectations. I really loved the flavor; it reminded me of cake batter (I love cake batter). The icing was very sweet, but that didn’t stop the cookie from being good.
Madi: I give this cookie a 7/10. I thought it was a pretty cookie that tastes like cake batter! Even though it was a little too sweet, it wasn’t too bad. Overall, I think this cookie is great and I definitely recommend it.
Kentucky Butter Cake: Next up is the Kentucky Butter Cake. It’s not an actual cake but a simple cookie that can’t go wrong. This cookie starts at $4.99, plus food tax (3.25%) $0.16, leading to the sum of $5.15. It costs the same as the Confetti Milkshake. The Kentucky Butter Cake is a yellow buttery cake cookie smothered with a melt-in-your-mouth buttery glaze. It has a great texture, and the outside of the cookie is crispier than the inside. The Kentucky Butter Cake is 130 calories per serving and 640 calories per dessert.
Maya: I rate this cookie a 7/10. This is a simple cookie with nothing really special, but it’s still a very good cookie. I like the texture of the cookie and the flavor tastes like a normal butter cookie. It’s one of the classic cookies, but it’s a good cookie.
Madi: I rate this cookie a 9/10. The cookie tastes like a normal butter cookie but was still very good. Even though the cookie is super simple, I still would recommend this cookie for everyone to try!
Milk Chocolate Chip: Our fourth cookie is Milk Chocolate Chip, a classic. As expected, this single cookie is overpriced starting at $4.99, plus food tax (3.25%) $0.16, coming to a total of $5.15. The Milk Chocolate Chip cookie is a thick, soft, and gooey treat. It’s packed with chocolate chips and has a delicious, light chocolate flavor. This cookie has a crunchier exterior and doughy semi–sweet flavor in the interior. Crumbl Cookies prides itself on its award-winning chocolate chip cookies, and the Milk Chocolate Chip is a fan favorite. This cookie is a SWEET cookie, being 140 calories per serving and 730 calories per dessert.
Maya: I rate this cookie a 8/10. It’s a classic and I love chocolate chip cookies. This cookie is a big cookie but overpriced (obviously). Still, nothing can go wrong with a chocolate chip cookie. I like the flavor of the chocolate chips and the gooey inside and crispier outside.
Madi: I rate this cookie a 7/10. I think the cookie is pretty good, but I feel like it’s missing something. I don’t know what but I still think the chocolate chips are great! It would definitely taste better when warmed up!
Pink Velvet Cake: Our fifth cookie that we munched on is called the Pink Velvet Cake. This cookie looks great; the pink crumbs on top are like a cherry on top. For a single Pink Velvet Cake cookie, it costs $4.99, plus the food tax (3.25%) $0.16, leading up to $5.15. The Pink Velvet Cake cookie is a velvety cake batter cookie topped with a layer of vanilla cream cheese frosting and pink velvet cookie crumbs. The icing is very sweet, including sugar, but the cookie part is very flavorful and is very delicious. For a single cookie, the per serving is 130 calories and per dessert it’s 710 calories which is bonkers.
Maya: I give this cookie a 2/10. It looks delicious but doesn’t taste delicious. The cookie part is a good velvet flavor, but the vanilla cream cheese frosting is just way too sweet. No wonder the calories are so high. I didn’t like the icing. The two points I gave are solely for the looks.
Madi: I give this cookie a 3/10. I did not like this cookie. I thought it was going to be good but once I took a bite, I thought it was way too sweet. I think it was the icing that was way too much but the cookie itself was decent.
Sticky Bun: Finally, the Sticky Bun cookie, a flavorful butterscotch caramel cookie. The cookie itself costs $4.99, plus food tax (3.25%) $0.16, rounding up to $5.15. If you like cinnamon and butterscotch, this cookie was made for you. The Sticky Bun cookie is a buttery cookie stuffed with cinnamon sugar filling then topped with butterscotch caramel and a crunch of pecan streusel. The icing is sticky, like the name, and the flavor is delectable but not the calories. Per serving, it is 140 calories and per dessert, 740 calories.
Maya: I give this cookie a 3/10. I love cinnamon, but this mostly tasted like a brown sugar cookie. I had high expectations for this cookie, but this did not meet my expectations. I did like the texture even though I really am not the biggest fan of sticky buns, unless it’s filled with lots of cinnamon!
Madi: I give this cookie a 5/10. I didn’t really like this cookie. I thought it tasted like pure brown sugar and it wasn’t something I was crazy about. The cookie also felt a little soggy and didn’t look very appealing either.
Overall, this review was so much fun to do. We enjoyed trying the cookies available during the week of October 21st and giving our honest reactions so that you know if you should spend or keep your money when these flavors pop up again on the menu! This particular week’s Crumbl Cookies were good, but there were definitely better weeks prior to this one. Our favorite cookie was the Banana Upside Down Cake and our least favorite was Pink Velvet.
We also asked 2 special guests, Ava Losurdo and Serena Braglia, to provide their HONEST and REAL reactions while sampling the cookies we tasted and featured above. CLICK HERE to watch their comical yet real reactions.
