The Chiefs ended their regular season with 15 wins and 2 losses. They had an amazing season, but it all came crumbling down at the Super Bowl.

The Chiefs regular season could be described as win after win. They took their division by storm and if you stepped in Kansas City’s way, they weren’t going down without a fight. This made the game against Buffalo in week 11 a surprise for everyone. The Bills started overcoming the Chiefs. There was no time left. Kansas City didn’t have the chance to do anything against the Bills, leaving the score 21-30 Bills.
In the last game of the regular season, the Chiefs did end up losing again, but this was ultimately the plan.
The Chiefs knew they were making the playoffs so they pulled their starters to avoid risks, like injury or just gassing them out. This resulted in a score of 0-28 Broncos, but the Chiefs didn’t care because they were already moving forward regardless.

Similarly, the Eagles ended their regular season with 14 wins and 3 losses.
The Eagles lost to the Falcons in week 2 by 1 point: 21-22. Their second loss was to Tampa Bay by 17 points: 16-33. Their 3rd and final loss of the season was in week 16 to the Commanders by a three point difference: 33-36.
But the Chiefs and the Eagles seemed to have earned their spot to compete in the most consistently watched television even in the United States.

However, come game day, in the first and second quarter, the Chiefs did not score any points. The Eagles already had 24 points on the board by halftime. With Kendrick going crazy during the halftime show, everyone thought the Chiefs were going to come back and destroy the Eagles. But the next two quarters actually were worse, and the Chiefs fought but not hard enough, letting out all their steam and then losing the game 22-40 to the Eagles. This ended their Super Bowl championship cycle. The Chiefs did not three peat.
So with this bad of a loss, will we even see them in the Super Bowl next year?
With this fallout of the Chiefs, many questions still go unanswered now. The new NFL season will be here before we know it, though, and once it starts, we’re going to see if the Chiefs are ready for the other teams and their changes.
All I know is that this next season is going to be a good one for viewers, regardless of their team favorites.
