A technical producer on a podcast is responsible for managing all technical aspects of a podcast’s production, ensuring the audio quality is high and the entire process runs smoothly. Their duties include setting up and troubleshooting recording equipment, editing audio files, overseeing the mixing and mastering process, and ensuring smooth transitions during live recordings. They are essentially the “technical director” of the audio, focusing on the operational and engineering side of podcast production.
