Hey, Tigers! This is Daniel Dohoney, a staff reporter for The Tiger and coming to you today will be the top 5 holiday activities for you to do with your partner this winter! From number 5 all the way down to number 1, here are the most fun date ideas based on surveys completed by your fellow Tigers! (See responses below!)
5 . Coming in at number 5…
Getting matching PJs. With 7 votes, matching PJs is the 5th most liked thing to do this winter. This is something that you would be able to do all year round, but there’s just a nice feeling about matching with your significant other around the holidays for a nice and cozy night in.
4 . Coming in at number 4…
Baking with your significant other. With 7 votes, baking is the 4th most popular thing to do with your partner. Baking is something that is not limited to the holidays, but holiday cookies come along with somewhat of a different experience that just feels right. This is something that you would be able to do at your house or theirs and not much money is required.
3 . Coming in at number 3…
Playing in the snow. This holiday activity can’t really be done here at any other time of the year. With 11 votes, having a snowball fight, making a snowman, going snowboarding, or simply making snow angels are all fun options if the weather permits. Just be sure to bundle up to stay warm, and you will have a BLAST!
2. Second to last…
Ice skating, which came in with 14 votes. Ice skating is a classic winter and holiday activity. There are many places you can go to have fun in the rink. It can be a great date place or a just good time for you and your friends. Just remember, if you fall it is okay. Get back up! You’re not alone! This is one of my personal favorite activities that I highly recommend.
1 . Now, the NUMBER 1 thing to do with your partner this break…
Movie night with hot cocoa! Coming in with a total of 19 votes, movie night with hot cocoa is our 1sr place winner this winter! Some people say there is no better feeling than being with your partner with some hot cocoa on a cold winter night. There are endless holiday movies you can watch. Some of my personal favorites are Elf, The Knight before Christmas, and Home Alone, but there are so many other movies to choose from so one is bound to have everything you are looking for.
Conclusion
That brings us to the end of our list of EPHS’ favorite holiday activities to do with their significant other this winter season. I hope that this list gave some people some ideas for their next date night and that everyone has a fantastic Winter Break! Until next time, Happy Holidays, Tigers!
