One of the most exciting aspects of the NFL during Christmas is the atmosphere surrounding the games. One thing on every team’s Christmas list is the Lombardi Trophy.

There are only 3 weeks of football left in the regular season. This makes the intensity high as they are all trying to make sure to secure spots in the playoffs.

There are 4 teams that have clinched the playoffs thus far. 3 in the NFC and 1 in the AFC. The Ravens are the only team in the AFC to clinch the playoffs and the 49ers, Cowboys, and Eagles have all clinched the playoffs in the NFC. This leaves only 4 open playoff spots in the NFC and 6 open playoff spots for the AFC.
