Watch a Show or Movie

First, watching a show or a movie might take your mind off of the fact that you’re lonely and have nobody to spend Valentine’s Day with. You can either watch your comfort show or movie, or you can find something new to watch, like a true crime story or a love story! Hey, maybe you could even solve the mystery before the characters do. So grab your snacks, blankets, and if you have a pet, grab them and prepare to snuggle up!
Dress Up

Next up is dressing up for yourself, which can make you feel way better. It’s like a personal sense of therapy! Dressing up is especially fun if you’re going out with friends, family, or just by yourself. Dressing up boosts your confidence, mood, and your self esteem. And if you feel up for it, you can take a couple of selfies and flaunt your fashion!
Spend Time with Friends and/or Family

Next is spending time with friends or family. Instead of being cooped up by yourself, you can make plans with your relatively single friends and/or family members. Some ideas are possibly going to a cafe, getting brunch, or even playing a couple board games. Any of these can help take your mind off the fact that it’s Valentine’s Day.
Cook or Bake

Second to last is cooking or baking. If you’re feeling sad, cooking or baking can benefit you a lot! Most people cook or bake so they can focus on something other than what they’re dealing with. If you feel up for a challenge, try looking up a couple fun and different recipes, like some super cute heart cookies or even a heart shaped pizza, yum!

Lastly, treat yourself. Treating yourself with some new clothes, perfume, maybe something for your room, and maybe even some Legos if you’re into that. (Legos aren’t only for kids, you know?) You could build a Lego plant or a cute flower assortment. And if not, you can always make something out of paper, like origami, for example! These are activities that will help clear your mind.
