Introduction
Well, well, well…we’re back with another review for our favorite Tigers. Funny seeing you here. This article might honestly be our favorite because it’ll feed into our caffeine addiction and it’s on the cheaper side. Today, we will try the top 3 Red Bull flavors- well top 3 according to you all. First, we’ll start off by giving you a peek at the stats from the Google form, then some brief nutrition facts, followed by a (hopefully) quick discussion on the price component, and, finally, get into the Real Review.
The Original

To start us off, let’s discuss our winner with 23.5% of votes, but we were slightly disappointed when we found out that it was the Original Red Bull Flavor. Personally, we believe it was a boring pick, but it’s not our fault you lack originality; we just have to deal with the consequences. To start off, the price range is the same for each flavor. The 8.4oz, which we got since we’re trying to save up for Iris’s tinted out M5 (coming soon…), was $2.99 and the 12oz cans are priced at $3.99. The prices aren’t that bad, maybe a little expensive for one drink but to be fair it does give you wiiings. Now onto our current biggest enemy, the nutrition facts…having a decent 110 calories for the 8.4oz cans, with a whopping 27g of sugar and 80mg of caffeine. This would send us into cardiac arrest, so I see where they got the “wings” phrase from. The 12oz can is significantly worse. The sugar rises up to 38g paired with 114mg of caffeine…is that healthy? The caloric values are the safest for us in this case, sitting steadily at 160 calories.
I, Iris, rated this one a 7.5/10. I didn’t know what I expected, but I immediately noticed the sweetness which was followed by a bit of sourness- not something I expected. The flavor slightly resembled battery acid (or what I think battery acid would taste like), which I sort of enjoyed. I feel as if this flavor was unique, definitely something I haven’t tried before but enjoyed to an extent. I would repurchase this.
I, Emilia, rated this one a 7/10. I honestly wasn’t expecting this one to place first, but it is the OG, so I guess it can be justified. I can’t be a hater, especially because this flavor started it all and is the foundation of all Red Bulls. I don’t ever think to consider the original flavor when purchasing a Red Bull, but it does carry an odd sense of nostalgia. Whenever my mom had an original Red Bull, I’d sneak a few sips in hopes of not getting caught. I really enjoy this flavor, especially the memories it holds.

The Pink Edition: Wild Berries
Next came the Pink Edition, a.k.a. the Wild Berries flavor, with 17.6% of the votes. The only thing wild about this flavor is the fact it was second most voted for. You guys really couldn’t have picked a less mundane flavor? We were hoping to try something more niche, but we’ll let it slide since we love you guys. When looking at the nutrition facts, Red Bull keeps it simple, each flavor having little to no difference and maintaining the same caloric value. We’ll spare you and save our price complaints for a different article since there isn’t much to complain about this time. Thanks for the reasonable prices, Red Bull!
I, Emilia, rated this one a 5/10. I was pretty excited with the release of this edition, and you may ask why. The reason was simple: the pink can. Who wouldn’t want to be walking around the school flaunting the new Pink Edition Red Bull? It was just so cute… until it came to the flavor. Now don’t get me wrong, there’s nothing wrong with the flavor, but it didn’t stick out to me and left me with an unmemorable experience. Not my cup of tea.
I, Iris, rated this one a 4/10. While the color was appealing I can’t say much for the flavor. To be frank, it tasted like melted jolly ranchers mixed with water and added sugars; it sounds like a dream but tastes like a heart attack. I didn’t taste any wild berries whatsoever and I honestly wouldn’t buy it again.
The Coconut Edition: Coconut Berry

Finally, in third place with 8.8%, make way for… the Coconut Edition, said to be flavored with Coconut Berry which we are not sure is a real thing… but who are we to judge? Well, we are the judges, so I guess we are the ones to judge? Word on the street is that the Coconut Berry flavor will soon be discontinued, as said by a random user on Reddit, so make sure to stock up. This is the third taste trial and we have barely even spoken about the prices, if only it was like this all the time. Honestly, this article is a little bland if I do say so myself. Red Bull never gives us anything to complain about as they keep the nutrition facts the same for all of their editions. Consider us a part of the Red Bull fanbase, lol.
I, Iris, rated this one an 8/10. We really did save the best for last with this one. When I first heard of it, I immediately assumed it would be horrible. After I took the first sip, I was immediately surprised, slightly disgusted, a mix of emotions really. It was so bad that it was good. The flavor is a little hard to describe; the most I can say about it is that it’s similar to artificial coconut and a blue popsicle. I’d definitely repurchase and will, in fact, stock up.
I, Emilia, rated this one an 8/10. Initially, I would’ve never gone out of my way to purchase this specific flavor, until Iris introduced me to it. Within that minute of my first sip, I knew it’d become one of my go-to flavors. Although it’s yummy, I will admit that the supposed Coconut flavor isn’t that present, at least not to me. Besides that, there really isn’t anything else to complain about. It gets the job done and tastes pretty good.
Conclusion
If you’re not familiar with the verdict by now, did you even read the article? We’ll give you a rundown just in case you missed it. The original as well as the coconut ranked just above average, while the pink edition, we simply gave pity points. We did have a few students request the Winter Edition which we, unfortunately, could not get a hold of as it is spring. R.I.P, see you next year. Now a little recommendation from us would be to maybe not chug three Red Bulls in the span of 20 minutes. We almost threw up (key word: almost). Neither of us have thrown up since elementary school, and we’re not ready to lose that streak. We did have a slight bone to pick with you all since this time our votes were a little low, at 77 votes. Guys, come on. Just joking! We appreciate all of you for helping us out in completing this article, and we’ll see you again in the next and final Real Review.
