Fall is one of the most exciting times of the year at Elmwood Park High School because of all the fall sports EPHS has to offer. Students are able to play football, girls volleyball, boys soccer, tennis, golf, cross country, or be on the sideline cheer team. These sports allow students to get involved with the school and stay active.

In this video, we interviewed Manny, Michael, Nikolija, Meredith, Frankie, Leo, Chris, and Max. We asked them questions about the sport they play and why they would recommend it to other people.

Golf is one of many sports that start in the fall. Golf challenges players to stay focused as they work on their swings, putting, and strategies for matches. Players have to practice often and stay motivated to improve. Golf helps students build confidence and teaches them to stay calm under pressure.

Girls volleyball is another fun fall sport that brings out big crowds. Volleyball players need to work together as a team, communicating and trusting each other to make every play count. Practices focus on serving, passing, setting, and spiking to prepare for games. During home games, the student section cheers loudly to hype up the players. Volleyball helps players build strong friendships and learn what teamwork really means.

Football games are definitely some of the biggest events in the fall; Friday night is something most people look forward to. The cheerleaders bring tons of energy to the game while they lead the student section and dance during halftime. The games bring together students and families to support the football team.

Boys soccer is another major sport of the fall season. The team spends their time running plays, building endurance, and practicing drills. Players need to have teamwork and good communication skills in order to score goals and win games.

In this video we interviewed Oliva, Payton, Emma, and Milana. We asked them questions about the sport they play and why they would recommend it to other people.

Other fall sports, like cross country, tennis, and sideline cheer, also make the season special. Cross country runners push themselves to run faster and go longer distances, showing amazing determination. Tennis players practice their serves and volleys, working on both their skill and sportsmanship. The sideline cheer team leads chants and performs routines that keep the crowd pumped up at games. All these sports take hard work and commitment, but they also create great memories and long term friendships. Fall sports are more than just games; they are about dedication, teamwork, and a sense of community.
