Interviewer: “What is your favorite memory while being on the soccer team?”

Mata: “My most memorable moment was when we all went out for pizza after a game. It was fun to hang out together. Or when we all dressed up as our coach for practice. We wore swim caps to look bald like him, and his reaction was hilarious. It was a fun and silly way for us to bond as a team.”

Interviewer: “What do you do before a game to get yourself mentally ready?”

Mata: “Before playing, I listen to hype music. It really gets me energized and focused and I think about doing my best. It also helps me to not get too nervous.”

Interviewer: “What are some goals you had for yourself this season?”

Mata: “I’m aimed to sharpen my decision making skills, boost my confidence in high pressure situations, and improve my communication skills with the team so we can work better together.”

Interviewer: “How long have you been playing soccer?”

Mata: “I’ve been playing soccer for 4 years now.”

Interviewer: “What were you looking forward to most this season?”

Mata: “I was excited to see all my friends and play soccer with them again this year.”
