What Should You Bring to This Festival to be Prepared?
If you’re heading to Lollapalooza this year, being prepared can make the difference between an amazing day and a stressful one. With big crowds, summer heat, and hours of walking around Grant Park, our Tigers recommended packing a few essentials to stay comfortable and enjoy the festival to the fullest.
A portable charger
Your phone will drain fast from taking videos, finding friends, and checking the schedule. A portable charger keeps you from getting stuck with a dead phone halfway through the day.
A reusable water bottle
Lolla has plenty of free water refill stations, and staying hydrated is a must in the summer heat. A reusable bottle helps you avoid paying for any overpriced drinks and keeps you feeling good all day.
Sunscreen
Hours outside in the direct sunlight can lead to sunburn fast. Our Tigers suggest packing a travel-size sunscreen so you can reapply throughout the day.
Comfortable shoes
You’ll be walking and standing for hours, so comfy shoes are non-negotiable. Sneakers are way better than sandals since they also protect your feet in big crowds.
A small bag or fanny pack
You’ll need something lightweight to carry your essentials. Clear bags are usually allowed and make security checks faster.
