Best Fountain Drink

For our 5th article, we decided we wanted to get clarification on what you guys think is the best fountain drink! The choices: Dr. Pepper, Sprite, Coca-Cola, Orange Fanta, water, Root Beer, Hi-C and Pepsi. Out of those eight, these are the ones that were voted the best fountain drinks.

Dr. Pepper, winning with 36 votes.
Sprite is 2nd place with 28 votes.
Coca-Cola is 3rd place with 23 votes.

First Place

We believe that Dr.Pepper received 1st place because it is just a really iconic soda. You can’t miss with Dr.pepper and we feel like everyone has been drinking Dr. Pepper since they were a kid. In our opinion, we don’t think we can ever get tired of Dr. Pepper. EPHS’s opinion of Dr. Pepper is that it’s not too strong and it doesn’t turn watery like other fountain drinks. It tastes better when served on ice. The majority of people agree with the 1st place winner.

Second Place

We’re surprised Sprite received 2nd place. We believe that Sprite is a very good drink especially when it’s the McDonald’s Sprite. EPHS said that Sprite just hits the spot. It has this tangy lemon-lime flavor. Sprite also goes well with any meal and tastes very refreshing on a hot summer day. Sprite also has a rivalry with Coke due to how everyone likes both of them. Some people might say Sprite is overrated, but we don’t think Sprite can ever get old.

Third Place

Coca-Cola received 3rd place. We think it is a fair ranking for it. Not only do we feel that Coca-Cola is overrated, but it is also very bubbly and strong. Coca-Cola is a classic soda and is even better when it is ice cold on a hot day. People can get addicted because of how sweet and sugary it is. Beware, it can cause type 2 diabetes. Coca-Cola has many different flavors as well. For example, Diet Coke, Vanilla, Coke Zero, and Cherry.

Fanta and Water tied for 4th place!

In our opinion, we believe this is a fair placement for Fanta because it gives a very good fruity taste and is really refreshing when it’s icy cold. If you are more of a fruity flavor person, then this drink is for you . It comes in many different flavors such as: grape, strawberry, orange, pineapple, and fruit twist.

In our opinion, of course we think water is a really good option. Water goes well with anything, but it depends on the person. It’s something EPHS said that they would drink while eating a snack.

I would like to study to become a teacher in the future and be able to work with kids of all ages. I really love listening to music of all different genres such as: Rap, Latin, R&B, Pop, and Hip-hop.
